I remember MJ Kim coming to speak at my church in Manquin, VA. I was a child so this must have been thirty years ago or more. It was the first time I had ever heard a speaker who English was their second language. In part that’s why he was so exciting. However, I will never forget how he spoke as he addressed our congregation. He was able to move me and make me feel God’s presence more in that 15 – 20 minutes than I had before that day. He talked about casting our worries away and letting God take control. He said that no matter how much we worried it was not too much for God. His God was able to move mountains and make waves. He asked over and over “How big is your God?” And assured us God is bigger than any problems we have. I can still hear those words. Truly words to live by.
